The 'Miss Lamination Pageant' was initially founded as the 'Union Beauty Contest' in 1952 by renowned business (and ladies) man T. Edgar "Bon Bon" Williams following a string of meaningless and superfluous relationships. With the intention of meeting even more hot women and advancing his business interests, the event celebrated and glorified superficial beauty.
However, after its initial success, and too much sunshine, the popularity of the event began to fade along with the contestants. After extensive research and the advent of modern materials, R&M Trade Laminating took over management of the contest and introduced The
Procedure. It was also renamed the ‘Miss Lamination Pageant'. This changed the face of the event (and those of its contestants) forever, yet kept alive the event's signature indulgence, extravagance and blatant marketing-focus.
