Delustered film Vs Scuff Free Delustered film

We often get asked what the main differences are between these 2 films. Delustered film is a soft  film that is completely matte looking. Regular Delustered film scratches very easily. The scuff free version of this film has a coating on top of the film that is designed to reduce marking. This coating adds durability to the film that makes it able to pass through most bindery operations without marking.

It holds colours really well and can be used for both 1- and 2-sided laminating. Regular Delustered film scratches very easily. The scuff free version of this film has a coating on top of the film that is designed to reduce marking. This coating adds durability to the film that makes it able to pass through most bindery operations without marking. This film is great for anything that will be handled, such as marketing pieces, presentation folders, high-end boxes, and book covers.   There is a cost difference for the added protection but for the right product it is well worth the investment in the film.
